To keep students safe on the internet, we must model the behavior we expect our students to show. There are so many risks and unknowns that are out in the internet, it can be a awful place for the students. But with our help and process, students can use the internet to help explore the world in a positive light.

This is a very cool idea that can connect students in different country and be able to use information to answer a question.
The second project is this is my country, by Projects by Jen. This is a really great website that gives so many different projects for students to be apart of during the course of the school year. This particular project is discussing your state and providing information for it via a flipgrid and then completing for trivia. It connects to my curriculum because of the speaking and listening goals for my kids to work upon and being able to work with others in a positive environment. The grade level is 6th grade The time requirement is between 1-2 weeks determine how you want your students to act/ present on it. THe timeline for the project is continuous but we would stick with a two week time limit. The technology tools are going to include chromebooks for Flipgrid and other research needed for the presentation.
Global projects are very tempting to use in the classroom because of the collaboration and exploration for the students. There are several different things that have to be considered when completing the activity. The projects can be used to help foster your passions for any subject matter which means our students are going to get excited and want to learn. These projects cover so many different topics for working together and ideas. It is something that is going to teach students the future of the workforce. Some of the webtools to be used can be anything in Google, flipgrid and even padlet for collaboration. One of the challenges in creating a project would be the acceptance from others. But hopefully your passions with convince others to join your project!
